Welcome to my homepage. I am a research fellow at the Institute of Mathematics of Slovak Academy of Sciences,  Department of Informatics. I have a part time research position at the Nuclear Power Plant Research Institute in Trnava, Slovakia, where I am involved in the implementation of stationary diagnostic systems for the monitoring of technical status of nuclear power plants.

My research interests are:

• design and implementation of parallel algorithms in linear algebra (especially SVD/EVD)
• fast and reliable algorithms for structured matrices (e.g., Toeplitz, Vandermonde, Cauchy, etc.)
• design of systolic (SIMD-like) algorithms
• partitioning of graphs and its application in parallel computing

I am married to Victoria. My hobbies include astronomy (observation of comets), hiking and playing piano (Bach, Chopin).
